Straight answers about Plover Money and your bank data.

What is Plover Money?

Plover Money (Plover for short) is an Australian personal finance app. It brings every bank account into one place, sorts your spending into categories, finds your subscriptions, and tells you what's safe to spend before payday.

How does Plover Money get my banking data?

Through the Consumer Data Right (CDR), Australia's open banking system. You pick your banks, approve access on their own secure screens, and choose what to share. Bank data is shared under the Consumer Data Right.

Can Plover Money move my money or see my bank password?

No. Access is read-only. Plover can see balances and transactions, but it can't make payments and never sees your bank password.

Can I chat with my bank data?

Yes. Ask Plover lets you ask questions about your own bank data in plain English, like "How much have I spent on eating out this month?", and answers straight from your transactions. No spreadsheets, no digging.

Which Australian banks work with Plover Money?

Plover works with banks that share data under the Consumer Data Right, including CommBank, Westpac, NAB, ANZ, Macquarie, ING, Bendigo Bank, Suncorp, BOQ and Bankwest.

Is Plover Money free?

Plover Money is free to start, with no credit check. Sign up with Apple, Google or email in about three minutes.

What happens to my data?

It's yours. Plover never sells your data and shows no ads. You can export everything, or disconnect a bank and delete your data in a tap.

Is Plover Money financial advice?

No. Plover Money gives general information about your own money, not financial advice.
